We built AI Resume Optimizer to level the playing field. Our tool analyzes your resume against real job descriptions, identifies missing keywords, calculates an ATS compatibility score, and uses AI to rewrite your resume for each specific application — all for free.
We believe every qualified candidate deserves to get past the automated gatekeepers. You shouldn't need to pay $30/month for a subscription service just to format your resume correctly.
How It Works
1. ATS Keyword Matching
Our engine extracts key skills, qualifications, and industry terms from the job description you paste. It then cross-references these against your resume to identify exactly which keywords are present, which are missing, and which are partially matched. The match score reflects real ATS behavior — exact keyword matches score highest, semantic variants score partially.
2. AI-Powered Rewriting (DeepSeek)
After the keyword gap analysis, our tool sends your resume content and the job description to the DeepSeek large language model. The AI rewrites your resume to naturally incorporate the missing keywords while maintaining your authentic voice and experience. Unlike simple keyword-stuffing tools, our AI understands context — it adds keywords where they make sense, not just anywhere.
3. Format Preservation
We support PDF, DOCX, and TXT uploads. The AI output is plain text so you can paste it into any resume template. We intentionally don't lock you into a proprietary format — you own your resume.

Privacy & Data Security
Your resume and job descriptions are processed entirely in your browser. We do not upload, store, or log your resume content to any server. The only external API call is to DeepSeek for the AI optimization step, and even then, only the text content is sent — no personal identifiers.
Your DeepSeek API key is stored in your browser's localStorage and never sent to our servers. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser data.
We use Google Analytics for anonymous traffic measurement. No personally identifiable information is collected.
Why Free?
We monetize through display advertising (Google AdSense), not by charging job seekers. This keeps the tool free for everyone while covering our infrastructure costs. We don't sell your data, we don't upsell premium features, and we don't lock results behind a paywall.
